At the 14th episode & the viewership appears to have dropped. The blend of comedy & sageuk have been alternating throughout the series. The story is fictional but the grip is missing.

The inspector finds the guilty but he slips away. Lack of evidence & disappearance of Park Tae seo from the execution block makes him lose his job. Disheartened he drinks & wallows in sorrow. Kim Jo yi comes to his aid. She makes him believe in himself again.
