It is a 2023 Indian Telugu language romantic film. Written by Sukumar & directed by Palnati Surya Pratap. The film stars Nikhil Siddharth & Anupama Parameswaran.
Made on a budget of 160 million it has gained est. 250 million so far. It got mixed reviews from the critics. As they say’ in spite of the bumpy later half it has still quite a lot to offer.
Starting off from a dejected hero who gets cheated by his girlfriend , it develops into a soft, loveable story. As he is burning her letters full of grief & despair, he finds a diary he had picked up from the street. The diary is written by Nandini, a girl whom he has never met.
The 18 pages of the diary make him fall in love with the unseen girl. He visits her hometown. He meets her grandmother who tells him she is no more. She had met with a car accident a year earlier. He cannot digest it.
He starts working on all the tasks she had decided on. It gives him immense pleasure & closure. Do they meet? Is Nandini alive? The movie answers all the questions. The violence was unnecessary. The story was good without it. I felt.
So is the length. A shorter, crispier story would be impactful. The pair has done a good job. They are loveable. It is tearjerker at times. We almost wish to get there & set everything right.
