It is a South Korean TV series starring Shin Hye sun, Yang Se jong & Ahn Hyo seop. Aired in 2018, it holds it’s charm, still. Directed by Jo Soo won . It is Gong Woo jin’s story, a 30 year old set designer who meets Woo Seo-ri. She was in coma for 13 years & now 30, but she is just getting used to her old body.
She is living with the uncle nephew duo, who are in her old house. She is in search of her uncle & aunty. In hospital, she had only one mysterious visitor. A doctor who has a crush on her.
Now, the two uncles are , one who abandons her when she needs him most & the other who dotes on his nephew. He is presently trying to bottle up his emotions but cares deeply for his nephew.
After debuting in ‘School 2013’ Shin Hye sun played the lead in ‘My Golden life’ where again she is superb. Trying to get out of her poor family & reaching the rich one! When she discovers she has been switched, her reaction!
‘Still 17’ again her parents in an accident & she is living with her uncle & aunty. Her trauma physical or mental has her give us an excellent performance.
‘The Hymn of Death’, “Angel’s last Mission : Love’ are her shows which showcase her talent. In ‘Hymn.. she is the soprano. In “Angel’s.. she is a ballerina. She looks exactly that.
In ‘Still 17’ she is a violinist, who hasn’t played the instrument for years, now. She doesn’t have the money to repair it.
Shin Hye sun won the excellence award with Yang Se jong. They won the couple award. Ye Ji won & Park Si eun both won the best supporting actress wards.Ahn Hyo seop won the Best new actor award. The series enjoyed average 8.5 to 9 % viewership. Some episodes saw 12.5% viewership in Seoul.
Four episodes into the series it is engrossing. It is different from ’18 Again’ & has it’s own way. Excellent.
