It is a 2022 Indian Telugu language action comedy directed by Sudheer Varma.Produced by Suresh productions, Guru films & Kross films. An official remake of 2017 South Korean film ‘Midnight Runners’.
It stars Regina Cassandra & Nivetha Thomas. Music by Mikey McCleary. It follows two police academy trainees. They witness a kidnapping of a girl on their way back from the club at midnight.
Knowing that they are in the crucial hours after a kidnapping, they embark on their amateur investigation. The gang is running an unfertilised egg harvesting ring & there are many girls at their hideout.
Two brave girls on the trail was a delight to watch. Marathi movie ‘Bindaas’ had two friends on the run. Everything that men do in movies.
‘Midnight Runners’ has Park Seo joon & Kang Ha neul in the lead. It is the 7th highest grossing South Korean film in 2017. Park Seo joon won the Best actor award along with the film being in Top 10 & the director being nominated.
It is refreshing to see action by the two leads. First half is engrossing The later a little stretched. Good action film.
