It is a story of a serial killer with a peculiar foot fetish . He chops off the feet & leaves them untouched. A determined CBI officer starts investigating to find the culprit. He is labelled ‘CBI ‘s own Sherlock Holmes’.
He gets obsessed by Joshua Matthews who is a burger joint owner from Goa. He is known to be weird & with a fetish for women feet. But non conclusive evidence gets him off the hook.
At some point we start doubting the officer or one of his fellow men. But finally we have him rendering his resignation. The murders stop but the murderer is scott free.
After seven years, the CBI officer visits the place & goes to the railway tracks. He meets a boy who tells him another man earlier was looking at the same spot. He left that way. But the rail tracks fork there. He could be anyone & now gone anywhere.
Is it worth a sequel? Yes. To get the answers. We viewers need our mysteries nicely wrapped. The culprit behind bars & justice meted. Such hanging ends are a pain. It can go any way from here.
