The Glory

Song Hye kyo after ‘Now we are breaking up’ looks mature. If ‘The Glory’ brings her glory or not remains to be seen. But looking back ,’Full House’ had her young, bright with a twinkle in her eyes.

In ‘Descendents of the Sun’ she was the able surgeon who dumps him first. She cannot adjust to his being a soldier. I remember the scene too clearly. The coffee shop where they meet & Song Joong ki then sitting alone. We were more shocked than him! Later they meet again & all is well. For us!

In ‘Encounter’ Park Bo gum falls for her. A young employee who later gets hired by her company. Reconciling from a broken marriage she is cold towards him. She rarely smiles. He the spring of her life! He brings her out of the shell.

‘The Glory’ has her cold gaze chilly than ever. She is going from the goody girl to a strong woman who stands up for her own. With no support from friends or family. Song Hye kyo is blamed for never leaving her comfort zone but this premise is definately new! She has not worked in a thriller before.

Getting paired with Lee Do hyun is a double whammy. He has been in number of shows. ‘Prison Playbook’ where he is the young Lee Joon ho . I wanted more scenes with him in it. ‘Still 17’ as Yoon Chan’s best friend. ‘Clean with passion for now’ as Gil Oh-sol’s younger brother. Again we wait till he comes on screen. In ‘Hotel Del Luna’ IU & Yeo Jin goo hog the lime light. A royal guard captain who becomes her friend. His name never appears in the main cast. Yet he is remarkable.

In ’18 Again’ his name appears in the main cast. He won the Best actor award for his role.’Youth of May’ had him again ina main role. He won the best actor award & the couple award with Go min si. The show was also the Best Picture TV drama. But the end of the show was disappointing. He deserved more.

A big fan of his from ’18 Again’. If he can beat every actor in the show, he can absolutely do anything! Probably that is the reason why he has a ‘Do ‘in his name!!
