Listing the most handsome actors in the South Korean industry is tough. The public polls cannot be said to be accurate. Personal taste differs also the appeal. Yet I found this list interesting.

Ju Ji hoon at 10. One of the most known faces. Model & an actor who can easily portray a prince from the Joseon era or in the modern times a detective. Famous for his various endorsements he stands tall.

9 Lee Dong wook. He can be a gentleman in ‘Touch Your Heart’ or a heartless nine tailed. He can be charming or obnoxious. He can be a Grim Reaper along Gong Yoo to match him step for step.

8 Park Hyung sik. From ‘Strong girl..’ with Park Bo Young his popularity skyrocketed. A rich simpleton friend in the gang in ‘Heirs’ with Lee min Ho to the recent times his appearance make many a hearts flutter.

7 Gong Yoo. From his ‘Coffee Prince’ he never looked back. ‘Train to Busan’ had only Zombies in the centre. Yet his father role stole hearts. ‘Guardian’ or “Big’ on the made him an iconic figure.

6 Ji Chang Wook. Focussing on the first frame in ‘Empress Ki’ where he was impressive without being macho. “Suspicious Partner” & “Healer” made him a sensation overnight. ‘Melting me softly’, ‘K2’, ‘Lovestruck in the City’, ‘Backstreet Rookie’ solidified his position.

5 Park Seo Joon. One of the most loved actors in the industry. ‘What’s wrong with Secretary Kim?’ with his co-actor Park Min Young brought him name & fame. They braved many a storms, dating scandals that worked their way. ‘Hwarang’,’Fight My Way’, ‘Itaewon Class’ topped the charts.

4 Song Joong Ki. One of the best actors to grace the screen.”Nice Guy’, ‘Were wolf’ brought him his early success. ‘Descendants of the Sun’ brought him glory & a wife. But his marriage did not last. ‘Vincenzo’ brought him again in limelight.

3 Lee Min Ho. One of the most successful & loved all over the world. his first show ‘Boys over Flowers’ did so well. It is a classic. So many sequels followed. Yet he remains the best. ‘Heirs’,’Legend of the blue sea’, ‘Personal Taste’, ‘The King : the eternal Monarch’ remained at the top.

2 Park Bo Gum. From ‘Love in the Moonlight’ he has never looked back. ‘Record Of Youth’ made waves just before he enlisted to the military. One of the best known faces in the industry. A heart throb.

1. Hyun Bin. The ‘Secret Garden’ actor excels in every role that he portrays. ‘Memories of Alhambra’,’Crash landing on You’ show his intensity. His ‘Negotiation’ brought the best of him. I also cast him opposite Son Ye Jin who became his wife later. They tied the knot & Also have a son today. A true family man. Kim Hyun Joong & Kim Woo bin get a special mention. They are my favourites. I was looking out for them. They do have so many projects to their kitty butt remarkable, nonetheless.
