Accidently meeting the Fairy & getting involved with her unknowingly makes the Devil forget his own ways. He resides with her in the hope to get the destiny book repaired but wants her to be healed up 100 %.
He doesn’t realise that he is trying to postpone leaving. The three realms are important for him. He wants to govern all but the little Fairy Orchid has long won him. She is lost in her love for Changheng & he likes her but is unable to express himself. Being already engaged he cannot break it.
While Dongfang Qingcang, the Devil has no pretense. He is himself always. Feeling the hurt when she does, shedding tears when she is sad what more do you do for your beloved??
Being a God but not able to protect your loved one, stringing along a promise made years ago, not knowing if she is alive or not, Changheng is in a peculiar situation. But he cannot stand up to his big brother or try to protect her. His words wound her, his rejection more so.
The Devil is better!
Going with the story is wonderful. The sets are superb. The actors fantastic. The lead pair make my evenings. After a tiring day I love to see them, follow them. Getting involved in their journey, not knowing the end is a revelation.
With so many episodes I had decided to let go, but it is fascinating. Once hooked, you need to watch it. Tried to find a picture which was closest but here it is. Edit the wings. The soft look is a good similarity.
