Starting off with ‘Love on a Rooftop’ with 101 episodes, I began my journey with a long, winding story. Around 50 odd episodes, some character changed & Losing interest I watched the final episode to finish it. I had vowed to never see a long series.
Later came ‘Empress Ki’ with 51 episodes. Two of the best actors & I just couldn’t let it go.Ha Ji -won & Ji chang wook make it interesting. The period dramas are exactly my cup of tea.
My Father is strange’ 2017 drama followed with 52 episodes. After Jung So min’s ‘Because this is My First Life’. She is refreshing. Father with his three daughters & a son make up the drama.
‘What happens to my family’ 2014 with a widower taking care of his three children He is helped by his sister. It is one of the best dramas to watch.Park Hyung sik, Kim Hyun joo, Yoon Park, Nam Jihyun make it interesting.
‘My only One’ made in 2018 has Lee Jang won, Uee with others. It has 106 episodes. The daughter meets her father who had been jailed, after 28 years. They are working for the same family. She is the secretary & he is the driver.
‘Young lady & gentleman’ 2021 drama has 52 episodes. Ji Hyun woo, a widower has three children. She comes as their live-in tutor. In spite of their 14 years age difference they fall for each other. Her father is the driver for some time. It has many similar scenes with ‘Sound of Music’ the classic or ‘Parichay’ but remains interesting. OST is beautiful.
‘My golden Life’2017 drama has 52 episodes. A couple with two sons & twin daughters. But one of the daughter is from a rich family. The rich family has two siblings with this one long lost daughter. Their lives keep on intertwining. A good drama.
Smaller dramas is my wish but I keep on moving to or gravitating towards the longer ones. But substance matters, right?
