Jian’s father is ill. His stomach cancer may let him live for a couple of months. He is happy to be at peace. He dyes his hair & buys a guitar. He looks content. The arrival of a child may change the tone in the house.
His wife, the mother is capable. Running the restaurant is not easy. But she is managing it well. The money is not hers. She story is sad. Her high aspirations make her daughters miserable.
Mr Choi learns to make choices. He learns to earn money without family support. He lives in the shared house. He has to cook & clean. He has to save money to support himself. But his dream to start a business of his own are still in place. Ji an blocks his advances but she admires his guts.
Ji so has caught on with Jian being Hyeok’s first love. But she has withdrawn herself in a shello. She has issues of her own. Her character is not as well written as Jian’s. Of course I couldn’t believe why a strong girl like her tried to kill herself? It was unbelievable. Her confrontation with Ms Noh was one of the best scenes ever!
I have loved everything about this drama. It is a totally family drama. It has just the right amount of suspense & thrill. Nothing exotic. The characters are just someone you may know.
