Around the 48yh episode the pregnancy of Ms Jo is no longer a mystery. Mr Lee remembers he was never close to her & he asks her to leave immediately. Mr Teddy bear now knows he is the child’s father. But is repulsed at her behaviour.
Ms Jo’s character is such that she comes between the leads. Her life is messed up. She is a person to be hated & yet a few times one really feels sorry for her. A pretty dignified lady on her knees is not something we would like to see.
She deserves all the ill treatment & yet it just doesn’t feel right. Mr Lee is free of her but yet to reconcile with his girlfriend, Ms Park. From Jae ni everyone knows of their relationship.
The leads are loveable. As the show progresses we get used to them. The long going shows make us very comfortable with the characters. “Empress Ki’ is another example. If I remember Ji Chang wook or Ha ji won, Taltal is one character I would never forget. From his hair to his dark costume!
The older ladies are fun to watch. being veterans they must have enjoyed their time on screen! Only four more episodes to go now!!
