A 2019 Taiwanese action series with Eugenie Liu & Jasper Liu. Directed by Neal Wu. Growing up in the shadow of her Triad father, Angie decides to live a life of her own. She takes on a gig as a n undercover bodyguard for a famous actress at an agency. She has to navigate the world of glitz, glamour & love.
Jasper Lui is dubbed as ‘Taiwan’s Nation Boyfriend’ by the media. His ‘In time with you’ 2011 was so popular. Korean drama ‘The time we were not in love’ in June 2015 with Ha Ji won & Lee Jin wook. Japanese remake “I don’t love you yet” in July 2019. I get it why the Japanese hero resembled Jasper Lui with his smile.
The six episodes fly by. Pleasing to the eyes & a little of drama. The final scene shows Mr Kim in bad light but a season would not be an answer. He is not fit for her. Period.
A one sitting series. Enjoyable.
