A South Korean 2019 show with Shin Hye -sun, Kim Myung soo, Lee Dong -gun, Kim Bo mi , Do Ji won & Kim In kwon. Also named ‘Dan, Only love’ it is a story of an angel, Dan who is given the mission to find love.
He saved a blind girl who begged him to help her. She along with her driver , also her secretary , was about to plunge in the river below. The car brakes were tampered. Her huge foundation is now controlled by her aunt.
Death of her parents has left her with inheritance but her blindness has made it impossible. Aunt has postponed her cornea operation several times. The irritable, rude girl has no one to turn to.
At the funeral of Mr Cho she realises she has lost the only support she had. All the girls whispering about the foundation of Fantasia are ballerinas. In awe of her but now relishing her downfall. An excellent ballerina herself she is bitter at losing her eye sight.
Interesting so far. The dancing troupe is a feast to the eyes. Beautifully choreographed. I was fascinated first by the dancer in ‘Fated to Love’ who dances nimbly. Later it was Song Kang in “Navelleria’ & now the swan song here. Not to forget the slender Natalie Portman in ‘Black Swan’ made in 2010. Made on a budget of $ 13 million garnered $ 329.4 million from the box office!
Ballet, a dance form with gestures, formations & costumes that enthrall the audience. With this backdrop it promises to be a good story.
