Around the 9th episode it is turning into a thriller. There is a murder & Kim Min jae is close on the heels of the murderer. He knows the person but the motive is yet to be revealed.
Like any other drama of the age it has all the soft moments we like. Byeon Woo seok is absolutely stunning. He woos young women effortlessly. His love interest, Lady Kang has also taken a liking for him. She is going to the parlour to meet him!
The king visits Gae-ttong & asks her to wait for him. He isn’t powerful enough to have her by his side. He is also unable to reveal his identity. She only knows he is alive & is an aristocrat. How this came about is not known to her.
He is lonely in the palace & has only one court lady to depend on. Is she reliable or just a pawn in the game? Chief Councillor Ma is now at the helm of affairs. He is a very sly person. After his elder son’s death, he should have mellowed. But he appears to have more to dream about.
The palace with it’s secrets is just like any other. The Old King is no more. The crown prince also taken care of. So Kim Su gets the throne.
It is a good drama.
