Do you like Brahms?

The story of the show is dreams & love of classical music students who find their own happiness while learning music. But it goes beyond that. I knew about the show from friends. The name is unique & so is the show.

There are three young pairs. Kim Min jae is the well known pianist. A child who is a prodigy. Groomed by an institute headed by Ms Na. He has a father who keeps losing money in his ventures. So he earns money with competitions. His mother runs a restaurant to sustain.

He meets with Park Eun bin who is an aspiring violin player. She started of late but is very passionate about her violin. She has parents & a sister. They don’t exactly support her decision but let her have her way.

Kim Sung cheol is a cellist. He has been dating Park Ji hyun for a decade. But she is confused. She has feelings for Kim Min jae since childhood. Being Ms Na’s granddaughter she is expected to head the institute in future. Her mother was an artist. her expectations were high. Her father just wants what is best for her.

Lee Yoo jin played violin in the past. Now, has a repair shop. A close friend of Park Eun bin. He later confesses his feelings for her. But by then she has gotten over her crush & fallen for Kim Min jae.

Bae Da bin as Park Eun bin’s close friend. She also likes Lee Yoo jin but gets rejected. She follows her education with a doctorate & shifting her base to the US.

Kim Min jae & Park Eun bin get along well. But his past with Park Ji hyun comes in between. They break up & become miserable. Being a small community of the musicians they meet again & solve their issue. He manages to be present & play at her audition. He is there to congratulate her when she graduates. He also puts a ring on her finger.

Park Ji hyun breaks up & he moves to US. She finds her vocation in teaching. She plans to join a school.

Lee Yoo jin shifts from his place ‘Intermission’ nearby. Bae Da bin remains friends with him.

The supportive cast is all important. For the crescendo it was a must.
