When I started watching Goblin (2016-2017), I was floored by both the heroes, Gong Yoo & Lee Dong wook! Yet along with Yook Sungjae I had noticed one more face, Kim Min jae ‘s! As Wang Yeo he is all serious. His deeds darker than his expressions.
Later in Dr Romantic 1& 2 , the leads have the entire floor. Yet as Park Eun tak he is the cheerful, helpful nurse in the ward. The shows did so well. Next season is being planned. I hope he has more footage.
‘Tempted’ in 2018 has Woo Do hwan with Moon ga young. Kim Min jae as Lee Se ju, who is a playboy. He is madly in love with Su-ji but he knows she has feelings for Si-hyeon, so has her as his friend.
‘Do you like Brahms?’ 2020 has him cast as Park Joon young , a world class pianist. His love interest, Chae Song ah is a violinist. Park Eun bin is excellent. She talks with her eyes. He gradually falls for her.
Being cast as the lead was a dream come true for us. From “Dr. Romantic” I had been wondering why is he in such a tiny role???
‘Dali & Cocky Prince’ 2021 has him as Jin Moo hak, a director of Dondon F&B. Kim Dali is a researcher well versed in various fields. A sharp contrast to the heir of a flourishing business. He comes out with flying colours. Park Gyu young after ‘It’s okay to Not be okay’ deserved a lead role!
I hope to see him again in a good role.
