It is a 2021 South Korean drama with two of my loved actors playing the lead. It stars Kim Min jae & Park Gyu young. It is about the romance between a parvenu who lacks education & the daughter of a prestigious family who tries to save a collapsed art museum.
When they meet in Netherlands, it is because she mistakes him for Mr Jin. Original Mr Jin is an old fellow who is a Arty type. But our little, handsome fellow gets to know her, because she picks up from the airport.
This is similar to ‘Love struck n the City’ ! The jovial Kim Ji won wins him over, none other than Ji Chang wook. Later back to Seoul she returns to her serious demeanor. But that’s another story.
So when his cards are blocked, he has nowhere to go, she helps. Washing up we see his chest is clean. Later back to Korea he has war paint!! How can that happen?? Goof up?? I understand his goons are painted but why Mr Jin?? Isn’t he the boss ??
He soon discovers she is trying to cope up with her father’s death & the failing Art Museum. That reminds me of ‘Her Private Life’ she is the curator & he is the Director. Of course, it is too close to my heart. Using the word ‘reminds’ is just a matter of saying it.
The final scene in or almost in ‘Vincenzo’ where he meets her again after years. The Museum staircase … the ambience… the same.
Just trying to see the similarities…enjoyable.
