It is a 2021 South Korean drama with Ok taec-yeon & Kim Hye yoon. A historical drama set in Joseon dynasty. It tells the story of a young gourmet who unintentionally becomes a royal inspector & a divorced woman who rushes to find happiness. They team up to investigate & expose corrupt politicians.
Viewership with average of above 4% it did well. But we expected better with known stars & a fascinating story. Thinking of the historical age with a new eye was different in itself!
Ok worked in ‘Vincenzo ‘& ‘Secret royal inspector & Joy’ in 2021. But the villain in ‘Vincenzo’ & being paired with Song Joong ki remains a landmark for him.
Kim Hye joon is remembered for her ‘Sky castle’ & her lead in ‘Extraordinary You’ won her ‘Excellence award & best new actress award ‘,also’ Best couple award’ with Rowoon & Lee Jae wook. Must be a rare occasion where the lead looks good with both the male actors!
With 16 episodes it looks interesting.
