Translated ‘Tomorrow May never come ‘ is a 2003 Hindi feature film.The highest grosser of the year, it had lovely songs like ‘It’s the time to disco’, “Kuch to hua hai’ & ‘Pretty Woman’.
Revisiting made me nostalgic. At the 51th National film awards , Shankar Ehsaan Loy received award for the best Music direction & Sonu Nigam got the Best Male Playback singer. The film also received 8 awards at the 49th Filmfare awards. Best actress Preity Zinta, Best supporting actor Saif Ali Khan & Best supporting actress Jaya Bachchan.
The film was a trend setter in fashion, technique & is worth watching. Knowing that the script was written with Kareena Kapoor in the lead, one keeps wondering how she would look in a particular scene & if Saif, Kareena would have found each other then!!
The song sequence in which Rani & Kajol appear had audience go ‘Oh..’, I wonder how people react when they appear suddenly. I recognized Uday Chopra suddenly when he said, “Day 6” and disappeared.
It is a treat to the eyes.
