It is a 2022 South Korean TV series, the lit. ‘Black Bride’ is directed by Kim jeong min. A limited series with 8 episodes. Starring Kim Hee sun, Lee hyun wook, Jung Yoo jin, Park Hoon with others.
It is a revenge story. Seo Hye seung , a middle class house wife in Gangnam, who lost everything in an instant, reunites with the man who upended her life. Rex, a marriage information company for the upper class finds her the groom. She participates in the race of her desires for her revenge.
It feels more like ‘The world of the Married’ because of it’ s genre. Also one is reminded of “Love : Marriage & Divorce” because of so many stories intervening. The usual notion of Korean dramas being soft & mushy is shattered here. Of course that genre is the best they handle, I believe.
