The show is a typical TV series with Sima Aunty introducing single men & women for matrimony. It is a limited series with a hope for the next season. Sima Taparia from Mumbai charges a whooping Rs 1.5 to Rs 4 lakhs- a commission received from both the sides of the ‘Rishta’.
Aparna the lawyer from US makes it exciting. She is in search of a partner. Her views basically come out as bold or independent. She may be arrogant or stubborn at times. But gradually you warm up to her & want to know her & her views.
Ankita is also a loveable girl. On the plump side she has been advised too many times to shed a few kilos. She has started her own business. She is in the garment industry with her sister. With huge eyes , sharp nose & a pleasant personality, she is a true home maker. In the end she begins on a journey of self realisation & peace of mind.
Vyasar comes across as a loveable boy. But his disturbed past, his father in jail may not sit well with the girl or her family. I don’t believe it is an Indian thing. Unless in love, nobody will choose to be a part of such a family. Manisha & Rashi were good matches. Manisha said goodbye. Their views didn’t match. He was hopeful about Rashi.
The end of the episode was planned. It ended at an exciting point. Naturally you go for the next one. Forgetting that these are real people, you follow as if their decision is your personal goal!
