Playing at the Wimbledon is routine. Looking at him playing for years is a dream come true. We watch him when he was afresh teenager, aggressive & now we watch him years later with our family.
Receding hairline, so many health issues later he is again at the court winning. He won yesterday’s game. We expect him to win. He does, effortlessly. Or that is what we think. He has made his pain his driving force.
Last time when he lifted the cup he wasn’t sure if he would play but he did! Sheer determination, hardwork & the strong will make him what he is … Nadal. His critics were silenced with his performance.
I wonder why people know better, only the player knows when to stop. Why should the public decide that for him?? His iron will, moving through the pain… I hope we just inculcate something of it.
Striving hard & getting better everyday. Lets all find the Nadal in us!!
