Into the 13th episode & each scene gets interesting now. Why was time wasted in the initial episodes? I wonder. They are too dark. Now, both the mothers know their children are dating. But their reactions are diverse. Jun u ‘s mother clapped, was overjoyed & thanked the girl, Soo bin.
Soo bin’s mother hit her & asked him awkward questions. She asked to stop talking to her. She wants them to go for the finals & excel. I understand. Being a parent she would not be wrong. Who doesn’t want their child to do well in life?? Does she even know what the child wants??
‘Children are not your property’ when Mr Oh said this to Soo bin’s mother, God I loved him! As if I don’t already!! But she did not bat an eye. She understood him to be very angry, but she let it slide. At home she employed a lady to keep a close watch on her daughter. She is to drive her to school & back.
Jun u is a mature & a responsible kid. He meets his father to discover he has moved on. He wants him away from his family. But he has named his other son ‘Jun u’! To give him everything that he could not. He wasn’t mature enough he says when he had him!! Not a reason to give your son!! Come on.
Both Soobin & Jun u have to grow up fast. Their parents have issues that a child cannot handle. Getting into a university & to believe …now everything is right!? How right is it?? The coming of age drama gets to another level with it’s final episodes. Can’t wait to see the next.
