Coming to the final episode, yes, it keeps you intrigued. Keep on guessing. A good show. A review says, ‘My inability to remember the names did make it hard to follow at times, but it kept me watching’ my thoughts exactly. I kept it short with their first names. So it was easy.
Son Hyun joo & Jang Seung form a formidable team. I liked that Jang Seung gets a well fleshed out character than what I saw so far. The sequel is something I am looking up to! Lee Elijah has a good role. Considering all the male characters around. Her passion for a new article, interview as a journalist comes through. Also her admiration for her boss. Did they try their hand at a miniature triangle here?
Oh Jung se as Oh Jong tae is the thorn in their flesh & also Jang seong’s cousin. My fascination for this actor keeps on growing. With every show I find him getting better & better.Watching him in ‘When the Camellia blooms’ a submissive husband to his dashing lawyer wife, ‘It’s okay to not be okay’ an autistic brother to Kim Soo hyun he has a range of expressions. No wonder then he was awarded the baeksang award for best supporting actor two years in a row, 2020 & 2021!
Ji Seung hyun as Yoo Jung seok shows talent. He is one of the underrated actors. Small but significant roles is his forte. He has more screen time but can never confess his real feelings. ‘Reply 1994’, ‘Descendents of the sun’,’Hello me!’,’ You are my Spring’ give him very little to do. But he makes an impact.
In the murder mystery two ladies bond over. Jin seo kyung & Yoon Sang mi in their line of work. But the changing attitudes of Do chang’s sister & Lee Eun hye is the best. As Lee Eun hye helps her meet her son, her opinion changes & gradually she accepts her as a family member. When the ladies gang up it is beautiful to see.
Park Ji hwan as Kang Eun hee’s ex-husband has little to do. But from ‘Our Blues’ his role is diverse. A conflicted single father or an ex-husband demanding custody ,such roles suit him. I wonder if he had continued with fashion designing…Of his 7 TV shows I have watched 3!
A very good show. Gripping, never faltering.
