Based on the life of the mixed martial artist Choo Sung hoon & his wife, Yano Shiho, it is entertaining. Slice of life kind of dramas give a different vibe & dramas based on real life have authenticity. Some dramatic instances apart it gives an honest appraisal.
The setbacks the duo face are so real. Nobody of us got it right at the first go. Maybe a few! But getting rejected at interviews or getting beaten up at fights is too real. Following them becomes our journey.
Park Seo joon is best known for his roles in ‘Kill me, Heal me’ 2015, ‘She was pretty’ again 2015. But he looks too young in ‘Kill me, Heal me’. His mop of hair is longer & face younger. Not being in the lead, he pops up & makes us realise his screen presence. He is different from all the roles he has taken up till today. One of his best!
Along with his successful drama ‘What’s wrong with secretary Kim?’ he has been awarded for his every other show. Very busy, he is known to select his scripts carefully.
Kim Ji-won from ‘Heirs’ 2013, ‘Descendents of the Sun’ 2016, my personal favourite. I liked her role more than the lead. She goes after what she wants. Bull headed, she is a rank senior to her boyfriend but she fights for him with her father. He relents finally but the happy ending is well earned. It won her the best supporting actress at APAN star awards. Also couple award with Jin Goo.
‘Fight for my way’ won her lots of love from her fans & couple award with Park Seo joon. Establishing as the hallyu star.
