It is a 2022 film that is perfect for an Sunday afternoon viewing. Directed by Stuart Mcdonald & the screenplay by Elizabeth hackett & Hilary Galanoy who have written so many rom coms for Netflix.
Reviewed as ‘old wine in a new bottle’ I enjoyed it. I wanted to see more kangaroos. It has one but sheep in plenty. Koala was nowhere but by then the story shifts it’s base to LA.
Victoria Justice in the lead is fresh & a natural. She is paired well, perfect with the male lead Adam Demos. Filmed in Numinbah Valley in Australia, the location was as idyllic as it looks according to the stars.
There is another film titled ‘The Perfect pairing ‘with Nazneen Contractor & Brennan Elliott. She is a food & wine critic who falls for a single father after she bumps her head & ends up losing her memory. Directed by Don Mcbrearty, it has all Canadian actors on board.
Watching good people with good costumes, good acting …with a good story, may be predictable, it’s worth watching.
