Black Dog : Being a teacher

It is a 2019 Korean drama. There is also an American film of the same name. But the theme is entirely different. Here,it deals with the struggle of a teacher temporarily employed at a private school.

It is realistic & viewers greatly sympathise with it. More than the classroom it deals with the politics within. Why is the situation the same all over the world?? For the meagre pay so many aspirants & the strings pulled…

The students go through a pain of adjusting to a new teacher. The temp can’t tell the students that she or he doesn’t know if he will be there next year or not. How do you expect the teacher to give his fullest??

Education being one of the major factors that can bring in change, is so lightly taken. People are so casual about the appointments. We know that the school & teachers have a lasting impact on the students!!! If a child is traumatised by abusive home environment, more so if the teachers are scary !!!!

The protagonist is saved by a teacher on their field trip. She never forgets him. Years later she starts working as a temporary teacher at a private high school. Her uncle being on committee in the school, people wrongly believe she has used his influence.

By the end of the first day the protagonist gets a helping hand from her colleague. Do Yeon woo is a very popular teacher among the students. Now, she will have a better environment to work in the school.
