The three characters are dealing with interconnected childhood traumas. Kang Da jeong is a hotel concierge manger with a history of bad relationships. She is unable to trust the other person. The scars of the troubles childhood makes her weary of every person she encounters.
She is ready to confess her feelings when the doctor tells her, let’s be friends. It is a major let down. Later he confesses that he said that for lack of better expression. Talking on a talk show brings in 300 plus comments. It opens a discussion & he comes to a conclusion.
Kim Dong wook has complicated characters to play. In his show,’Find me in your dreams’ he loses his lover to find her friend. His feelings give him a new lease to his life. As a TV anchor he needs to be calm. Here, he is a psychiatrist talking on a talk show occasionally. But the murder mystery is just round the corner.
His love interest changed from Moon Ga young to Seo Hyun jin here. His first appearance in the “Coffee Prince” was short but memorable. Just like Kim Jae wook. His character is one of my all time favourites.
Yoon Park from ‘What happens to my family’ an arrogant doctor to ‘Forecasting Love & weather’ who dumps Park Min young, has many shades to his character. His eyes & face cut make it plausible. In ‘You are my spring’ our opinion keeps on wavering. His childhood is what nobody should experience. Yet it doesn’t justify his actions.
Seo Hyun jin from ‘The beauty inside’, ‘Another Miss Oh’, ‘You are my Spring’, ‘Dr. Romantic’ is one of the most accomplished actress. ‘Record of Youth’ & ‘Bring it on Ghost’ have her cameos. But you can’t miss them.
