It is a 2021 Korean drama. It stars Oh Yeon -seo with Jung Woo. It is a mini series which holds you captive. Storyline is simple. A man & woman live next door, also share a psychiatrist . They decide to move out of each other’s way but keep on getting involved.
He is a cop. But he has been suspended after an operation goes wrong. Yang, the drug dealer is still out there & the police are searching him. She was involved with a married man, who assured her that he is divorced. He also blackmails her for certain videos he has with him. Presently he is in prison but she is made up to be a ‘homewrecker’.
Oh Yeon seo I have seen her in ‘My Sassy Girl’ & Jung Woo in ‘Reply 1994’ with Go Ara. Now, both have matured & have come out with a good performance.
The starting episodes are a put off but then we warm up to the script. The healing process is gradual & natural. As we overcome the episode of the pervert or the cross dresser, the story lifts up.
The mood & the lights are as the mood goes. Her wearing dark shades & that flower stuck behind her ear is classic! Her costumes have pastel colours which go perfectly with the general mood. The personality of their mothers is thoughtful. They have very little screen time but they are impressive.
With only 13 episodes of 30 minutes each. I have already crossed the halfway mark. It finishes before you know it. Good.
