‘About Romance’ is the 11th episode. The next one is the finale. I can’t believe we have finished another series without a hitch! It is a tad slow but engrossing. Of the three best friends Son has the most footage & she is perfect!
Son meets her mother in prison & clarifies that she doesn’t consider her to be her mother. Her adoptive parents are her real parents, she says. She is mad at her for sending a creditor to her clinic.
Jean is in pain. She tosses & turns. She has her medicine. But we know it can’t help her for long. Her mother comes to her room to find her sleeping. She comes across the booking for a columbarium. Jean doesn’t want others to bother about it. She knows her time is running out & so do we!
She goes on a drive with Son. She is not exactly enjoying it, but knows her chances of spending time with Son are getting slim. She is getting cold easily. But asks Son to turn down the heater. Are you trying to roast me? Just let me out. She admits that it is not easy to be the most happy terminally ill person.
Dr Kim meets with Son’s father & apologizes for his father’s comments. He is more sorry & hurt than Son due to those remarks. His sister gives an interview for the Seoul Philharmonic orchestra. Her taking up playing piano, is all Son’s doing. Dr Kim visits her to hug her. Not caring for how late it is.
I am looking forward to the next season already. The journey of these friends is open ended & can’t just end with Jean’s death. So many loose ends to tie up!
