Revisiting it I realised why I like it. Every episode brings them closer. More than the physical distance just how they start depending on each other is delightful. The strained faces in the first few episodes start relaxing visibly.
Both have an alert look which fades & they smile at each other. Enjoying company & at peace with the situation. Her boyfriend cannot fathom why she left a catch like him! He thinks it’s pity or sympathy. Which it is not!
‘Love at first sight’ is difficult to understand. Both have gone through a deep relationship. They are mature & aware of the consequences. The effect on the people around them. Treading very slowly but surely. Getting deeper into each other’s thoughts & forming a strong bond.
Four years into the relationship & she had never thought of marriage because she had been very often threatened of a break up. The patch up later & moving on. Hanging by a thread was not an ideal type of a relation. Only when she was about to take a step she finds true love.
What is fascinating is his confidence. He tells his parents this is the last woman! How many can be this sure? Also that he will never let her go. But when he is with her he never pressurises. As he says he really cherishes her. He lets her have her way, always.
‘The end game’ is his plan. He is ready to wait till she comes to him. It so happens he visits her place & he takes her to his parent’s. But they are alone. He is not ready to introduce her to his parents.
The step by step built up is beautifully executed. When his friend tells him about the vitamins, he gathers they are the same ones that her boyfriend had bought for her. From his pharmacy. His smile tells it all.
These small things make it a beautiful experience. The director, the leads are my favourite but also this particular drama that remains so close to my heart after watching what.. hundred odd dramas later. I was watching out for any jaded or worn out scenes or incidences, I found none. The re watch is as superb!!!
