A 2022 Hindi film starring Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar with others. It is about a gay man & a lesbian entering marriage of convenience. But chaos ensues when the girl’s girlfriend comes to live with the unlikely couple. Shot in Dehradun, it brings all the beauty of the mountains.
Directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni, it is a light, comedy with really heavy stuff. Putting forth a new, neglected subject was courageous. He has done a wonderful job.
Family comes to know. Those scenes are delicately handled. The first person he rings up is his wife, Sumi ! How natural!! What is a couple?? Isn’t it sharing, caring & being there for each other !!
How does it matter if they are differently oriented?? Loved the movie, cast, direction… just the whole thing!!
It reminds of the clean cut ‘Badhai Ho’ a Hindi flick of 2018. It had remakes & many National awards. Due to the name… & the official spiritual sequel to it!! Unbelievable.
