Thirty nine

Into the fifth episode & the tone is serious & sombre. Dr Cha is getting ready for the ordeal ahead. She visits her friend Chan Young’s parents with her but they fail to say anything. There come a few openings but they do not disclose. Chan Young’s mother suspects that something is wrong.

Seon woo finds his sister at a bar. He gets her address the next day from her colleague. He drops a gift wrapped watch at her door. She accepts & goes for lunch. Talking he realises his father has hurt her for being an orphan.

His father flies to Seoul to meet him. He says the same sentences which his sister had. Dr woo knows now that the damage is done. Later he decides to introduce his sister to his girlfriend, Dr Cha. His father appears & foursome go for dinner. He tries to belittle his adoptive daughter when Dr Cha rises to her help. She leaves after Kim So won who rushes out without finishing her meal.

Seon woo follows them & they bond over their drinks. Dr Cha encourages her to visit the orphanage that she does & meets with the elderly caretaker.

It drags but the story is good. They should have cut it to 8 or 6 episodes.
