A 2020 Korean drama ‘I’ve been there once’ has 100 episodes of 35 minutes each. On Netflix it is of 50 episodes of 1 hr each. It closes to a good end. But I was expecting them to explore the character of Lee Hyun. It was introduced with a suspense & so late. It was left out without proper closure.
Both the friends find solace & peace with their twin grandchildren. Da hee getting married & living happily with Jae seok. So all is well. Enjoyed watching it. Around 40th episode it got me teary eyed but it was good.
The character of Ok bon by Cha Hwa yeon has many layers. A mother of four children she is mature & capable. Helping her husband yet independent. From ‘It’s okay, That’s love’, the 2018 dramas ‘My only one’ a stylish mother & ‘Encounter’ another very rich widow & a strict mother-in-law to her daughter-in-law, Song Hye kyo. ‘Once Again ‘ has her as a hard working mother & ‘Run On’ in 2020 shows her in a different light.
