A 2022 South Korean series that traces lives of three friends who are thirty-nine. Interestingly only Jeon Mi-do is thirtynine actually. Kim Ji-hyun & Son Ye-jin are forty! None look their age!! I checked.
Suddenly came across the series & now I have so much on my hands. ‘Once Again’ is on an interesting point, ‘Forecast.. ‘ is slowly developing & now this. The first episode grows on us. These ladies have been there for each other since they were eighteen.
With only 12 episodes they cover a lot of ground in one episode. Son Ye-jin is a director of Gangnam Dermatology Clinic. She is about to take a sabbatical year in US to play golf. She is a adoptive daughter. But her unni is very protective towards her.
Jeon Mi-do is an acting teacher. She was in a relationship with Lee Moo saeng & broke with him when he went abroad. He came back married but maintains her friendship. Son Ye jin strongly disapproves. ‘Your’s is love, other’s is an affair!’ don’t we know it. Finally Jeon Mi do plucks up her courage to quit smoking & tells him face to face that she is going to quit!
Kim Ji hyun is a cosmetic manager at a convenience store. She longs to be in a relationship. But has yet to find her soulmate. She goes gaga over the English teacher who visits the orphanage but he has eyes only for Son Ye jin.
While returning her watch, he meets her again & gets a gift of three peonies. But she take away one from him. Again they meet at an orchestra & have drinks which leads to them getting close.
When Son Ye jin plans to meet the new director she gets a huge surprise! It is Yeon Woo jin, who she has met already!!
Yeon Woo jin has acted in ‘Queen for seven days’ no doubt why his face was familiar.
