The newest flick on Netflix stars Taapsee Pannu with Tahir Raj Bhasin. It is viewed in India by the highest number of viewers till date but the critics haven’t responded favourably. I am definitely one of them.
The red light on their faces or the dingy surroundings make it difficult to watch. Do I like Karan Johar-like movies? I do. But I also relish substance. If a short story could make ‘Andhadhund’ the most watched movie, why can’t ‘Run Lola Run’ roughly made as ‘Looop Lapeta’ work??
From the first frame I just couldn’t identify with the characters. The hospital or the suicide attempt is not new, how you handle is !
With the male lead losing the cash was the end. I did not watch it further. Now, the stage is gone when one had to finish what one started. I exercise my freedom to switch off. Many may disagree, but it is not my cup of tea, surely.
