It is a 2021 Indian Malayalam film. Directed by basil Joseph & produced by Sophia Paul. It follows the life of a young tailor who gains super powers after being struck by lightning & transforms into a superhero.
The local hero concept is fetching. But two people get the super powers & it gets complicated. Jaison Varghese works in the tailor shop & dreams of going to America. When he hears of superheros like Superman & Batman, he is fascinated. Why Batman? Maybe someone struck him with a bat! This reasoning is ultimate!!
It is the third Indian film to be in Netflix’s Global top 10 list of non-English movies. To grab attention & hold it there is not an easy task. A tad lengthy it makes an interesting viewing!
Both the superheros, Jaison & Shibu have given their best. Shibu is the better actor, showing his emotions in controlled & effective manner.
