The first episode of this Korean drama of 2020 is racy. Both the leads are fantastic. The story gripping. With two more lawyer shows namely, ‘Vincenzo’ & ‘Lawless Lawyer’, the premise is familiar yet the treatment is different.

Ju Ji -hoon brings honesty to the role. His sincerity is heartwarming. His latest show ‘Mount Jiri’ did not do so well but he is a fantastic actor. His ‘Kingdom’ remains a landmark in the history of dramas.

He resembles Park Seo joon in many frames just a little more serious. I have seen Park seo joon serious as a boss in ‘What’s wrong with my secretary?’ but it is comic. He excels in romantic capers. He is himself in ‘She was pretty’.

Kim Hye soo is special. I loved her as Dr Kim’s girlfriend in “Dr Romantic” & more so as the adoring girlfriend of the prosecutor. She has style, simplicity & directness to her roles.

Having an abusive past she is coping up with her legal cases with finesse. What happens to the knife yeider remains to be seen ! She comes across as tough & unflinching. But her face, expression, her eyes have that vulnerability that wants you to protect her.

In the whole world of baddies she has to pave a path of her own. How does she do it? I am curious.
