“Tila lavite Raktacha” another Marathi movie has a woman going through all hardships without expecting happiness or getting any. Dies in childbirth signifying she is giving, always giving. Giving birth to a daughter is also very significant.
“Chakra” or ‘Chandni Bar’ has women trying to break free & yet get into the vortex of the same old rut. It is so sad to see them like this.
