It is a 2022 Hindi series. Only eight episodes. It has a politician’s daughter relentlessly pursuing a man of her choice. She will do anything to get him. His love for the other girl is a dream.
Director Siddharth Sengupta manages to keep you rooted on your seats. A true thriller. But the gore sometimes is overwhelming.
The actors are sincere. Tahir Raj Bhasin plays the hapless engineer Vikrant. He has got a job at the steel plant. He wishes to leave behind the shady politician that his father has been working for so long.
But Purva, the politician’s daughter has her ‘kaali kaali aankhen’ set on him. She will pursue him till he says ‘yes’. Shweta Tripathi is given a short role. We would have loved to see more of her. She is such a bundle of freshness on screen.
It could have been better. The critics say it is honest than ‘Haseen Dilruba’ which lost it’s plot midway but this one could have been stellar. I go in for more softer versions so this one is not for me.
Ones in love for thrill & ‘Manohar Kahaniyan’ may love it.
