Around the half way mark & yet it remains an enigma. Why did some people have to be there at the perfect time?? They could not have come & avoided the tragedy of losing the loved ones.
It looms large on the lives of the survivors. They go about their lives with deep scars. Both cannot forget that they are alive & their sister or father died. Now they are on the mission to built a memorial for them. To remember & to mourn their deaths.
Now they are a team but the bruises are still there. Revisiting the tragedy gets a bit repetitive. Na Moon -hee, his granny is introduced to her. Both are at the bus stop when the Granny collapses. She takes her to the hospital. The IV works & the Granny is able to eat the canned peaches. She is the Granny in ‘Navillera’. Song Kang with Park In-hwan made it a beautiful viewing.
Lee Ki-woo is as elegant as always. I remembered him. But why was his curl of lip so prominent?? Was he a villian somewhere ? I paused. Then in ’18 Again’ he tries to woo the leading lady! Now I get it. His father is rich & bribes the coaches to let him in the team.
Kim Kang hyun is the best buddy ever. ’18 Again’ has his unforgettable role of a geek. A true one. ‘Hymn of Death’ has a solid star cast & a beautiful story. Also ‘Good Manager’ which I have not finished yet. Good options keep getting in the way.
So much to see & report. So little time for leisure!
