I must have watched this title for ages. But I passed on & searched more. But when I sat to watch it, it is nice. With barely 40 minutes to go it remains interesting. It is a fresh take on relationship.
Tuesdays & Fridays is a story of Varun & Sia. Both mistrust relationships because of their earlier experiences. They meet in an office. Their chance meeting leads to a cup of coffee. Then to dinner.
She goes to London to meet her mom. She wants to wish her on her birthday. Mom shocks her by saying she is marrying. She meets her dad to tell him of her mother’s marriage.
It has a lot of surprising events. Slightly more on the show biz, the special appearances really special. Jhataleka Malhotra as Sia, Anmol Dhillon, Aashim Gulati, Niki Aneja Walia as her mother, Parmeet Sethi as Dr Vikram, her father make the cast.
Kamini Khanna as the Kaala in the cafe is just like what she was in ‘Kal ho na ho’. Her persona lends an aura to the character. Anuradha Patel as Nimmi Sarin. As a mother in ‘Jaane tu ya jaane na’ she was glamorous. She is more so here.
Directed by Taranveer Singh & Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Shobha Sant, Bhushan Kumar it is a short film of an hour & 46 minutes.
