Directed by Indianna Bell & Josiah Allen it is a story of a helpline operator who gets a call. It is 16.47 minutes but we tend to be alert all the time.
A writer sitting on the edge of his bathtub has written three letters. Before saying his final goodbye he rings the helpline. A newbie, a psychology student, is sitting at the desk when the usual has stepped out.
Her patient hearing makes us nervous because a wrong word could cost a life. As she cries when hearing his verses, so do we feel like. He stays in 24 B but wouldn’t tell his name. He is gay & has led a solitary life for seven years. But no address.
She tries to trick him but he is clever & doesn’t spill any details. But finally she makes him think of tomorrow. ‘Let’s talk tomorrow’ to which he agrees! Along with her we heave a sigh of relief.
