It is a 2018 American biographical drama film. Directed & produced by Clint Eastwood. It is based on 2016 autobiography by Jeffrey E. Stern. The true story of a terrorist & the three American Heroes are the two books also referred to.
Stone, Sadler & Skarlatos as themselves star in the film along with Judy Greer & jenna Fischer. The film follows the trio through life heading up to & including the stopping of the 2015 Thalys train attack.
Rome, Venice, Amsterdam & then Paris. We go to all these places & the camera pans as if we are with them. When they meet a girl, Liza in Venice, it looked like a scene from ‘Zindagi na milegi Dobara’ but then the three boys continued & the track changed.
From the leisurely trip to the half an hour action drama it has all. Scenic locations, ordinary people, a story to tell & Clint Eastwood’s sincere effort.
A must see film. How the ordinary rise to the situation to become extraordinary! One of the leads is becoming more & more convinced that something is hurtling towards them. The holiday is cultimating into something unknown!! It does.
