My Girlfriend is a Gumiho

The interesting creatures are fascinating. Having been enamoured with the mermaid in ‘The Legend of the Blue Sea’ with Lee Min ho, this is interesting. Into the fifth episode & we find the Gu mi ho striking a deal of 100 days with a human.

No min woo is her true friend(?). He is ready with an ancient blade with which he plans to kill her. He was scary harbouring his evil plans. But when they meet he has changed. He actually gives her the advice to change into human. He has his ulterior motives, but appears to convince her to go back. She has fallen for Cha Dae woong & will not listen.

Again Lee Seung -gi comes across a Gumiho in this show. He has a father in ‘Gu Family Book’ & a human mother. He is a stuntman in ‘Vagabond’, who is taking care of his nephew. Here, he aspires to be an action hero.

Shin min-a as the Gu miho is convincing. She appears in a white frock which is befitting. I remember the ‘soul’ of Kim So-hyun in white. She also looks so cute in a simple white dress.

The genre of Romance, comedy, fantasy makes the best viewing. When he accepts her as his girlfriend for 100 days, she is delighted. It will help her to be with his side for long & also help to change her into human. ‘Let’s mate!’ was as direct an invitation as Shahrukh’s in ‘My Name is Khan’.

Sung Dong-il as the action film director has interesting scenes with Dae woong’s aunt. A chance meeting makes them fall for each other. Their slow burn romance is funny & makes light of the situation.

Park Soo-jin is Dae woong’s classmate & love interest. He buys a ring to express his feelings but she hurts him. He ends up giving the ring to his new girlfriend, Miho! It seals their fate.
