The K2

Into the 7th episode & the father meets his daughter only because he has promised that. Anna is his unfortunate daughter who is being heavily guarded & not allowed to meet him. She is traumatised by her mother’s death, believing she is responsible for it.

The flash in her eyes triggers all those fearful memories & she develops breathing trouble. When she dresses up as a nun & confronts her father seated in the pews, both are awkward. He knows she is putting herself in danger. He is trying to act as a puppet in the hands of his wife.

Both it cannot be a solution. Living in dread or in a constant fear cannot be the way of life. Ji Chang wook as K2 has his work cut out. He wants revenge but he has started caring for Anna. If it is not like Raniya, it is similar. Having himself in the employment of her step-mother gives him some time alone with Anna.

Her joy at eating Ramyeon or ice cream is child-like. But again she has been denied the small joys for too long! So why not??? Her sitting on the roof in the night is the only time she ia alone. Away from the prying eyes.

Wook’s eyes reflect the exact emotion he is feeling. The cut on his cheek enhances his vulnerability. He has carried out all the stunts himself without a body double. They look authentic. If you like him in ‘Healer’ this is just a step more. Liking him is so easy. Only “Lovestruck in the city” took some time.

Most of the characters are known, have met in some other drama so it is all very enjoyable. Each episode has the right amount of fights, fun & frights. The high-tech ‘Cloud Nine’ is scary. She can see what is happening in the JSS informatory from her room. The camera catches all.

With 16 episodes I am already halfway there! The brother- sister drama between Choi Yoo jin & Choi sung in the lobby can go any way. But it will affect Anna for sure!He has the same smile that he reserved for Lee min ho in ‘King: the eternal Monarch’ as his uncle.
