A short film with two individuals who are together to find if they are a match. He stays & works in Mumbai & she is fascinated by the pace. They sit & talk over various issues. She asks him if being a teacher he will allow her to work. She has completed Montessori course.
Meeting in a saree & grateful about the elders being considerate, letting them talk alone… speaks volumes about the rigid laws led down where marriage is considered. He asks her if she can adjust to his mother. Like ‘Privacy’ will be compromised. She passes this test with flying colours because she doesn’t have those blown up notions about marriage. Also being brought up outside the city is a major factor.
I think 10 years later will be a more appropriate study. Not only privacy but a lot of movements will be under scanner. I don’t have any thing against mother-in-laws… only that they take their ‘bahus’ for granted!
Yeah, the end is also good. It makes you look for more. That’s what I did.
