This theme is the same from “Moon Lovers” .. IU comes to the past with a recent breakup. From present to the land of the … none other than the princes. All care for her & the king-to-be falls for her. Lee Joon gi, the fourth prince. Her life changes forever.
In ‘When the Camellia blooms’ she comes with her small school going kid. The small sleepy town, the anonymity is what she seeks. She opens her own bar. Gong Hyo jin looks every inch the single mother she portrays. Incidentally the main lead is Kang Ha neul, who is the police officer, determined to woo her.
Kang Ha neul in “Moon lovers’ is someone who I had liked so much. He should have been the main person in IU’s life . But as the fourth prince makes his entry, he captures all. The screen, the story, the proceedings & IU’s heart!
The beach reminded me of the beach in “Love struck in the city”. He lives in the trailer & surfs. He teaches her to do it. Ji chang wook & Kim ji won, in the roles of love-at -first sight. He wears the rubber suit that is often seen in the Bond movies.
Here, ‘Hometown…’ has Kim Seon ho wearing it. He watches her from afar & approaches with only one sandal. Does he have the other one?? He falls for her first & wants to help her. He has all the cards just like Kim Young -kwang in “Hello, me!”. But he is the noodle chain owner’s son. But Kim Seon ho seems to be a Handyman!
Besides Ji chang wook, the other star wearing the suit in “Heirs” is Lee min ho. He is in LA enjoying with his friends,actually in exile imposed by his elder brother. The foreign location where the lead pair meets. I wonder what happened to Park shin hye’s sister who runs away ? It is the lead’s story all the way & LA is never mentioned,again. Normally there are no loose ends like this.
