Nevertheless

The final episode was a tad better than I expected. From the webtoon, the end was known. So the actual end had to be seen. They changed it. It is also logical. The pair formed was due to the attraction & not because of comfort. Comfort came in the end. The viewers are already anticipating a season 2 but it was very conclusive.

After turning her back on Jae eun, Nabi is not happy. She fears to admit but she misses him. She is sure that the relationship will only hurt her & yet she awaits him.

A fan falls on her sculptor due for exhibition. She totally loses it. Park Jae eun has withdrawn himself. Reflecting he is yet to arrive at any conclusion. When he hears of her damaged work, he rushes. Maintaining his distance, he tells her that he will help fix it. Also that he will leave as promised when the work is done.

The work is done. He leaves. He knows he is at fault & missed his chance. He packs up everything in his car. He releases his beloved butterflies. All alone he weeps alone.

At the exhibition,Yang Do-hyeok makes her happy by gifting her a bouquet. But her eyes are searching someone. He realises she really likes Jae eun. He leaves. The after party with her friends again makes her miss someone terribly.

Yoon Seol has found her soulmate. They are very happy. Oh Bit na is also with her boyfriend & glowing. The relaxed atmosphere makes her more uneasy & she comes back to her piece where Jae eun is standing & watching it.

He notices that she is wearing the bracelet of the butterfly made by him. They have a reconciliation. They know they have to learn a lot but they cannot live without the other. Walking hand in hand they make a pretty picture in the end. They are discussing if they should have a cat.

Nevertheless, I still… have a long way to go. Maybe. But the end was better than pushing the good guy. He had a crush but it was years ago & she never thought of him the same way! Having them together would have been very artificial.

So, all’s well in the dreamland then.
