Hasya.. the next episode, ie Laughter. It falls flat. There should have been true laugh, a hearty laugh. It is missing. Directed by Priyadarshan I expected more.
The obese, not good at studies boy being in 9th std for four years. No hope of passing 10th std. He takes up the challenge of disposing the dog of the Principal. He promises to pass him.
The events that follow are nothing close to compel one to laugh. The comedians did it better. Watch Marathi movie, ‘Ek Daav Bhutacha’ without funny costumes or faces, without outrageous dialogues, it makes you laugh & enjoy. None of ‘Bhootnath’ or sequels happen to get closer.
We have been blessed with P.L. Deshpande, V.P. Kale who have written gems in Marathi or Harishankar Parsai in Hindi why should we be catered to some gibberish to pass of as humour ???
